Standing equipment for daily standing training

Daily standing training is an important part of rehabilitation measures after accidents as well as for people with permanent physical impairments. Professional standing devices prepare the patient for gait training or provide a bit of independence and well-being every day.

For people who are not (or no longer) able to stand independently, standing training has a number of positive effects on body and soul: In addition to, among other things, circulatory training, osteoporosis prophylaxis, emptying of the upper urinary tract, contracture prophylaxis or better breathing, the change in perspective is also important. When standing, the patient can better perceive the room and also his body size and becomes an active part of his environment.

Hand grips, belt holding systems or electric stand-up devices facilitate the stand-up process for stand-up units. The construction of a sturdy tubular steel frame, a height-adjustable table and foot fixings ensures a safe standing position. The devices are suitable for patients with a body height of 120 to 220 cm and a weight of up to 200 kg.

Safety for all cases

All ISKOmed standing devices are equipped with a precisely adjusted emergency stop. This immediately brings the electrical stand-up device to a standstill when actuated.

Thus, in the event of a careless actuation or a technical defect of the manual switch, the stand-up process is interrupted so that the patient is protected from overstretching or entrapment. This emergency stop function is activated by touching the mushroom head with the lower abdomen.
